Here at Kirby Dental in Teddington, we recognise that the world around us is changing right before our eyes. Over our years of service to the Teddington community and beyond, we’ve striven to roll with the times, and have adapted our service to make use of some of the most cutting edge and innovative dental techniques as technologies develop. In the past, often the most challenging part of providing our patients with vitally required dental care was actually getting them to cross the threshold of our practice. Today however, more than ever, record numbers of new patients are turning to our dentist in Teddington to address all number of structural and cosmetic concerns they may have with their smiles and to maximise their oral health.

Calming, soothing environment

At Kirby Dental, we understand that, whilst more and more people are increasingly seeking out the services of our dentist in Teddington there are still a number of patients – old and young alike – for whom a trip to the dentist is the cause of a great deal of anxiety and stress. As such, we aim to provide all those who enter our practice with a relaxing, calming environment in which they can feel comfortable and included throughout every step of their treatment. These cover an expanse of different procedures and have become massively popular, particularly in recent years with the rise in social media usage and ‘selfies’ across all demographics. Typically, any treatment which is designed to purely boost the overall aesthetics of your smile, rather than address a structural issue or improve oral hygiene, would be classified as a ‘cosmetic’ dentistry solution.

Liven up your life

One of the most popular forms of cosmetic treatment which we offer is teeth whitening. This is far more popular now than previously, across all age and social demographics. The aim of cosmetic teeth whitening is to eradicate any build-up of plaque which has caused discolouration, or any staining on the outermost layer of the patient’s tooth – or their enamel. Here at Kirby Dental, we offer our patients the ability to carry out cosmetic tooth whitening from the comfort of their own homes through the Enlighten and White Dental Beauty systems. The former requires that the patient first have a custom built dental retainer made from an imprint of their teeth. Thereafter, the patient takes their unique retainer home, and applies a small amount of the Enlighten whitening gel within. Then when worn, the peroxide-based bleaching gel begins to clear away any discolouration or stains to the patient’s teeth over the next 14-28 days – allowing them to witness each stage, as their teeth get progressively whiter, shade by shade.

Highly recommended.I have been visiting Kirby Dental for about three years, and Dr Farah is very skilled and has good attention to detail and always explains clearly what she is doing and what needs to be done with all options and costs explained clearly.I have also had treatment with Dr Keiron, who is also highly skilled and professional.I have never felt anxious about visiting Kirkby dental and have always been greeted with a warm welcome.All in all, this is the best dental practice I have ever visited and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist who are experts at what they do.

Highly recommended. Always get a friendly and professional service here starting with Louise on reception, then the nursing team, Esti the hygienist and finally Keiron now our family dentist. He always takes time to listen to concerns, offer choices and doesn’t push unnecessary treatments. Has a good rapport with the teenagers too!

I had a range of dental work done by Saara at Kirby Dental practice. This included root canal, crowns and fillings. Saara has been a brilliant dentist and the results have been excellent. I have been putting off a fairly routine appt with this dentist for a couple of years now. The lovely, kind Louise or the lovely Yamala makes me an appt. I then usually cancel with some excuse…. Although the last time was genuine… today I managed to pluck up the courage to attend my appt. Being a child of the 60’s and 70’s… my experiences with dentists at that time has left me with a massive phobia! Sara and Anna are amazing. They could see I was very, very nervous and put me at ease. The dental work was done quickly and painlessly. They explained everything. I also had a hygienist appt. Esti, again, is amazing. Everyone was so kind and patient with me. I will be staying with themforever !!!! Thank you to all the lovely ladies who work there. Xx

This is one of the best practice I have been to. Louise is kind and friendly. Keiron is an amazing dentist who knows what he is doing. It was the most thorough examination I have had and every detail was explained to me. I honestly cannot recommend Kieran and the team at Kirby Dental highly enough. I had some extensive cosmetic dental work done by Kieran and I am over the moon with the results. Kieran is highly professional and knowledgeable whilst also being extremely calm and considerate at all times. It was the most comfortable I’ve ever felt in a dentists chair! Thank you for helping me to smile with confidence again!
